You already know that at Bodegas Arzuaga, we always aim to be present at the wine world’s top events. So, back in April, we travelled to Madrid to participate in Salón Gourmets, the most important high-quality food and drink fair in Europe and one of the most prominent in the world. This fair brings together some of the leading professionals from the world of wine, who come to discover all the latest news and take the pulse of an industry that changes every year.
Salón Gourmets is held every year at the Feria de Muestras venue in Madrid, where national and international professionals from the gastronomy sector – restaurants, hotels, distribution, catering and specialist trade – all come together for a few days. It’s where the world of upmarket food and drinks meets to show off its products and open a door to the world. And at Bodegas Arzuaga, we know that you’ve got to be at this kind of event.
That’s why we went with the aim of shining the spotlight on Arzuaga Crianza 2020, our flagship wine; Arzuaga Reserva 2019, the essence of elegance; and Arzuaga Reserva Especial 2017, the ultimate expression of terroir. These three wines are a good example of the work we do at Bodegas Arzuaga all year round. Because, as you know, the aspect we look after most at Bodegas Arzuaga is the care in the vineyard, always keeping an eye on the yields to ensure they’re very small and don’t take away from the wine’s concentration. This is reflected in our wines and our way of understanding vine growing,
and that is what we wanted to convey with our presence at Salón Gourmets. Bodegas Arzuaga perfectly captures its location in the heart of Ribera del Duero’s Golden Mile, and it also has its own personality, a way of doing things that is directly intertwined with the Arzuaga family and their passion for wine.
And one of the things that we like to do most is to share it with everyone who is alongside us day by day. That’s why our wine tourism project reflects our way of doing things and why we open the doors of our winery so that you can discover all the winemaking processes. It’s also why we were present at Salón Gourmets: to open our doors to the world so that Bodegas Arzuaga can be more international than ever.
