Taller Arzuaga is back. New menu and safety guarantee

This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)

Finally! We’ve been wanting to give you the best news and the day has finally come. We’re back after the pause. And we’re coming back new and improved with a new menu and a remodelled space. After getting our first Michelin star, as well as one Sun from the Guía Repsol guide, Taller has had a makeover in four main areas: menu, installations, team and, above all, safety.

Starting with what we know you just can’t wait to try, the restaurant is still committed to local cuisine in its two new menus: the Reserva Summer Menu and Gran Reserva Summer Menu. There’s also the option to enjoy an à la carte menu, too. Both of our new menus feature local products such as game from the La Planta estate and the oils we produce ourselves.

We’re aware of how special the launch of this new season is, which is why we’ve wanted to present it with a promotional video that’s also committed to the avant-garde and technology, in this case in the audio-visual sector. The product becomes the star though agile camera movements that depict preparations and ingredients in detail.

Moreover, in terms of our installations, we’ve enlarged Taller’s kitchen, doubling its size. Access to the restaurant has also been improved, adding a direct entrance to the restaurant in addition to the old entrance through the winery, as well as a series of parking spaces in the garage reserved for the diners who come to Taller. Inside the establishment, we’ve installed a curved glass wine cellar with 500 bottles of wine from the world’s best wineries.

In terms of the family who make up Taller, we’ve added staff both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Together with Amaya Arzuaga as manager, Víctor Gutiérrez and Jhon Mendoza remain at the helm of the culinary offering as gastronomic advisor and head chef, respectively. A new addition is Irene González, who joins the dining room team as sommelier. González completed the sommelier course at the Fernández Pérez School in Valladolid and has Level 3 training from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). In recent years, she’s worked at the Hotel María Cristina in San Sebastián and alongside highly respected chefs such as Andoni Luis Aduriz, Francis Paniego and Hélène Darroze.

COVID-19 safety measures

As you’d expect, at Taller we’ve prepared a strict protocol to guarantee your safety so that you can come and enjoy haute cuisine without any worries. You can see Taller Arzuaga’s safety protocol by clicking on this link.
