Springtime, the best pairing at our traditional restaurant

This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)

The days are getting longer and longer at Bodegas Arzuaga and springtime pairs perfectly with our traditional restaurant, the perfect plan to experience the rebirth of the vineyard. Its amazing terrace is one of a kind and today, we’d like to tell you about our favourite pairings for these early warm days.

We’re going to start with one of our classics: suckling lamb skewers roasted over vine shoots. A culinary delight linked to the province of Valladolid that you can enjoy like never before against the backdrop of a beautiful sunset. As well as with our Pago Florentino, a wine with a unique personality that’s going to amaze you. The grapes come from vineyards located at the foot of a hill, protected to the north by mountains and facing south, towards two natural lakes. A wine with a silky attack, great intensity and touches of black fruit. A delight for toasting alongside the suckling lamb skewers.

And since we know that you’re wanting to enjoy our white wines, we’re also going to suggest an original, different pairing. Our Pago Mota is a special wine, a mellow, creamy Chardonnay that’s the perfect combination of acidity and freshness. It’s ideal for pairing with any of our fish dishes, but today we want to take you down a more daring route. Because our Pago Mota is so amazing you can try it with our leek pie covered in goose liver and fig and raisin sauce. A pairing that will let you discover new nuances and that you’ll be able to share new sensations with.

We’re going to finish our recommendations for our terrace in springtime with our Arzuaga Rosae, a star of the summer that’s already starting to shine. A delicate, fruity and floral rosé, idea for welcoming the spring. And for enjoying along with another cold dish: ox carpaccio with foie gras. We can’t think of a better way to conclude today’s pairings than with this fresh, different recommendation that we’re convinced you’re going to love from the start.

Spring is a time to celebrate, and there’s no better way to do it than enjoying Bodegas Arzuaga with the best traditional gastronomy and a unique landscape as the backdrop.
