Rediscover traditional cuisine at Arzuaga

This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)

Innovation and the search for new culinary experiences in our dishes are a constant feature of the work of the team led by Víctor Gutiérrez, Taller Arzuaga’s executive chef. But, as part of our culinary offering, at Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant, you can also find a menu full of dishes more focused on highlighting the typical cuisine of Ribera del Duero.

From Iberian ham starters, fresh salads and the classic suckling lamb, to a wide variety of fish and meat dishes, our traditional menu is a delight you can’t miss out on.

Suckling lamb as the star in its different versions

If you come with the idea of sampling suckling lamb in the purest traditional style, then Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant is the right place for you. It’s one of our standout dishes and one of the most-ordered that you have to try, at least once, if you visit our restaurant.

But it doesn’t end there. If you want to try suckling lamb prepared in a different way, the grilled lamb chops are a dish that’s bound to have you coming back for more.

Finally, infused with the aromas from being roasted over vine shoots, the suckling lamb skewers, served with our local salad, are a real treat that deserves to be tried.

The best fish dishes are also found on our menu

Although many of you might at first think that meat is the star at Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant, the fish dishes on our menu are also an excellent option if you’re looking for an alternative that’s up to the mark.

Salt-baked bream; grilled hake, breaded hake or hake in pil pil sauce; butterflied sea bass; cod in pil pil sauce; grilled turbot; hake jowls…

If we’re talking about Arzuaga… we’re talking about wine and, as a result, pairings

If you visit our traditional restaurant, a great option is to pair your selection of dishes with some Bodegas Arzuaga wines.

For example, we suggest accompanying our roast suckling lamb with an equally high-quality wine, such as Arzuaga Crianza, our winery’s flagship wine. Without forgetting the other stars of the show, the fish, the salt-baked sea bream, together with the Fan D. Oro, makes for a light and amazing pairing.

You don’t want to miss this!
