Like every year, at Arzuaga we celebrate Easter time in a special way. We like our customers to be able to enjoy a few relaxing days at our wine tourism complex, so that’s why we’ve designed a series of offers so you can choose the one you like most.
First of all, there will be a special dinner on Saturday 11th April with a menu featuring various starters, such as Iberian ham breadsticks and crispy garlic prawns, followed by hake tacos, seasonal mushroom rice and, of course, the most typical dish from Ribera del Duero: PGI Castilla y León suckling lamb, roasted in the traditional style. These dishes are all always accompanied by our best wines with the Ribera del Duero Designation of Origin. And, to close the evening, after a special Holy Week dessert there will be a big party with a DJ and sweets bar.
In addition to the special Holy Week dinner, there’s also the option to spend a full day at our complex thanks to the offer we’ve designed that includes accommodation in a double room and a beginners’ tasting workshop. With this option, you’ll also be able to visit the La Planta estate and its animal nature reserve, as well as our winery. You’ll also get access to the thermal circuits at our spa and have the option of complementing your visit with other options, such as a private Jacuzzi for two, for example.
Between 8th and 12nd April, you have the option to stay for two or three nights. For your stay, we have a package that includes the special Holy Week dinner with party and DJ, in addition to a lunch or dinner at the Arzuaga restaurant, where you can’t miss the seasonal carpaccio, the skewered suckling lamb on vine shoots or the hake with clams. And, if you go for the three-night option, you’ll be able to go on a carriage ride through Ribera del Duero.
Finally, we have the Gastro Easter option from 8th to 12nd April with accommodation in a double room, Mediterranean breakfast and a tasting workshop featuring three of our wines and a special tasting of arbequina olive oil. This option also includes the visit to the La Planta estate, a tour of the winery and access to our thermal circuits, where you’ll also have a facial assessment and the chance to complement it with an Arzuaga Special massage. In addition, you’ll enjoy a lunch or dinner at the Taller restaurant with a menu you can view on our website, www.hotelarzuaga.com, as well as the special dinner on Saturday the 12th followed by the party.
We offer the option to round off these last two experiences with other activities such as, for example, the Holy Week processions in Valladolid and Peñafiel, which are of great tourist interest both nationally and internationally. And, for families, we also provide a children’s area; you can check the rates by calling us on (+34) 983 687 004 or by sending an e-mail to hotel@hotelarzuaga.com.
