It’s a real honour for us to tell you that Taller Arzuaga continues building on its success. A few weeks ago, we became the first complex with a winery in Ribera del Duero to achieve a Michelin star. Now, the writers of the Repsol Guide, one of the most important gourmet guides in Spain, have awarded their first ‘sun’ to our gourmet restaurant.
For those of you who don’t know yet, Taller Arzuaga is part of the Grupo Arzuaga facilities, located in the town of Quintanilla de Onésimo in the province of Valladolid. Taller is managed by Amaya Arzuaga, with Víctor Gutiérrez as culinary director and Jhon Mendoza as head chef. Gutiérrez and Mendoza were responsible for collecting the sun at the 2020 Repsol Guide awards ceremony, held on 24th February at the San Telmo Municipal Museum in San Sebastián.
At Taller Arzuaga, we just welcomed our new season, with new suggestions and recipes and with a refurbished space where great care has been taken over all the design details. Every day, we offer those who book and come to discover our space high-quality cooking with a focus on local cuisine and a clear, strong commitment to local produce such as game from the La Planta estate next to our complex, or the oils we make ourselves, all featured in our recipes. As we’ve mentioned, this all takes place in a bright, perfectly designed space in a matchless setting: facing the Ribera del Duero vineyards.
This sun from the Repsol Guide represents an acknowledgement of the work of the Taller Arzuaga team, as well as an accolade to continue along the path of avant-garde and high-quality haute cuisine.
