Bouncy bulls, barbecue and party… We celebrate San Fermín in Arzuaga!

On 6th July the ceremonial rocket rumbled in the Pamplona Town Hall Square. One more year it served to begin San Fermín. A few hundred kilometres from there, in the middle of Ribera del Duero, we were also preparing to celebrate this festivity that is already a tradition in our winery.

When the afternoon began to fall, the bouncy bulls were the first main players of the day, simulating the mythical bull runs from Pamplona. Of course, in Arzuaga our special bull runs were for all audiences.  In addition to the games that we had prepared specifically for the little ones, children and adults became young men, they put their red scarves around their necks and ran in front of the bulls, inaugurating a night in which the fun didn’t stop.

After the races, it was time to recharge. What’s better than with our barbecue and the different dishes of our buffet? A complete offer for all tastes: Iberian cold cuts, cheese, assorted salads, gazpacho, oxtail, roasted ham… And in our barbecue the best grilled meats and skewered suckling lamb with our garnish of roasted potatoes and different sauces. And obviously paired with Arzuaga wines and topped with our delicious desserts.

When dinner was over and the night already covered the gardens surrounding the Arzuaga Hotel, the DJ Curro Puertas was in charge of lived up the evening with the best music that brought all our San Fermín runners to their feet. But this time to dance and enjoy the music. And the final fanfare was a firework show that amazed the attendants.
