Many of you visit us every day at Bodegas Arzuaga, in the heart of Ribera del Duero. Some of you come to discover our winery, to have lunch or just to have a glass of wine. Today, on our blog, we want to suggest a much more comprehensive plan, an idea for you to be able to enjoy Bodegas Arzuaga from a new perspective that’s bound to surprise you. Wine tourism, wine and gastronomy. Get ready, the day’s about to start!
Our special day begins in the morning. We await you at Bodegas Arzuaga to welcome you and explain that, in small groups, our first stop will be the La Planta estate, just a few minutes from the winery. There, you’ll be amazed by the majestic nature of the deer who live in this huge natural space, together with herds of wild boar and flocks of mouflons. You’ll also get an up-close look at the vineyards where the Tempranillo grapes grow, key in the production of our wines. On the estate, you’ll also get the chance to take an up-close look at our ancient holm oak… We’re sure you’ll be impressed!
After a stroll through La Planta and having shown you this treasure of Arzuaga, it’s time to try our wines and learn to discover all the nuances they hide, guided by our winemaking team. During this personalised tasting, you’ll be able to learn about the passion we share: wine. Through the different wines in the Bodegas Arzuaga range, we’ll go on a sensory journey together where you’ll appreciate the different characteristics of our products.
Finally, the plan we’ve prepared for you for this day ends at our traditional restaurant. It’s the perfect place to enjoy local cuisine of the highest quality, as you can see from our menu. Roast suckling lamb or suckling lamb kebabs, Arzuaga-style suckling wild boar, suckling lamb chops, cured meats and an interesting array of starters and fish dishes are just some of what we offer. Then there’s also delicious desserts such as the cream-filled puff pastry mille-feuille, chocolate coulant with cinnamon milk ice-cream, homemade flan, rice pudding, homemade custard… Ultimately… classics that never fail!
