At Arzuaga, ever since we had to close temporarily, we knew that the reopening would entail some strict rules to guarantee the safety of both you and all the staff who make up our team here. That’s why we’ve spent weeks getting trained and working to establish an anti-COVID-19 protocol that will allow you to come and enjoy our hotel without having to worry about anything. Today on our blog, we wanted to tell you about some of the measures that are part of our new safety standards.
First of all, we’d like to point out that both the hotel and the spa will be disinfected twice a day. Moreover, we have disinfectant mats at the entrances and protective screens at the front desk. Regarding your arrival, we’ve set up a quick check-in service where all your details are provided by e-mail or phone ahead of time to minimise contact at the front desk. You’ll also be given information about all the available activities by e-mail or phone.
Once at the hotel, the lifts must be used by just one person at a time, and they will be disinfected frequently. Payment terminals and pens will also be disinfected after each use and we’ll send you invoices by e-mail immediately.
The bedrooms will be disinfected daily, and in them, besides the usual amenities, you’ll find new ones, including face masks, gloves, tissues for cleaning your mobile and hand sanitiser. We’ll also disinfect all textiles before and after each guest uses them and we’ll deep clean commonly used objects such as remote controls, knobs, handles, buttons, etc. We’ll remove all unnecessary decorative elements and the informational brochures about the hotel will be single-use only.
In terms of our wine tourism offer, we’ve adapted it to limit the number of people, offering you the option of doing private tours and enjoying a picnic afterwards to enjoy our gardens in the fresh air while maintaining the recommended safe distance.
Of course, we’ve also implemented specific measures at our spa. We’ll disinfect towels, beds and loungers, as well as the spa itself, following each use, and all the treatment rooms. To ensure that it’s possible to maintain the social distance recommended by the Ministry of Health, we’ve limited the capacity and extended the opening hours, so that, even though the groups will be smaller, no one will have to miss their chance to enjoy some relaxation among the vineyards.
