The first rays of morning sunshine are reaching the vineyards at Bodegas Arzuaga earlier and earlier. The days are long and hot and the vines are at a magical point in their growing cycle when they’re at their greenest. The chlorophyll gives them an almost emerald colour that shines under the summer sun. That’s why we’d like to invite you to come to Bodegas Arzuaga and enjoy our wine tourism activities.
We’ll start by taking a walk through the vineyard, seeing the grapes up close and discovering the different hues they reflect. This is because the berries haven’t started turning red yet and have an intense green colour that’s worth admiring up close. You’ll be able to escape the heat of the city in a stunning setting, stroll among the vines and get a better understanding of the process that takes place between July and August that’s fundamental so that the harvest goes well.
And since everything revolves around rest and relaxation in summertime, you can’t leave without trying our spa. It’s a unique spot where you’ll be able to forget about the daily grind and focus just on yourself. This time of year is perfect for getting whisked away by our Polynesia Ritual, an escape to the paradisiacal Pacific islands to experience a feeling of total relaxation. Take some time out to unwind at our spa in summer. There, surrounded by pines and vineyards, in an Ibiza-inspired environment, you’ll completely disconnect from the outside world for a few hours.
And, of course, if you come to visit us, you have to try our wines. You can choose to do a little introduction to tasting, with three Bodegas Arzuaga wines and gourmet tapas, or a masterclass, where you’ll spend two hours tasting five of our wines accompanied by paired gourmet tapas. It’s a perfect time to discover the best of our winery first-hand.
And, thinking about a purely food-related plan, at Arzuaga we have two restaurants that are as different as they are wonderful. You can opt to sit on our amazing terrace, with views of the vineyards, at our traditional restaurant and enjoy some of the most typical Castilian dishes. Or, you can go for innovation and let yourself be guided by our prestigious chef Víctor Gutiérrez at Taller Arzuaga. They’re two fantastic alternatives for you to choose from.
To round off a perfect day, you can watch the sun set from our vineyard or the terrace, feel the warm air and understand why Arzuaga has the most comprehensive wine tourism offering in Europe.
