Weddings at Arzuaga: we’re still working!

This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)

During this very unusual situation that none of us are used to, we here at Arzuaga have still been working and, even though it hasn’t been possible to do it in person, we have continued to tell you about everything we can offer you through your screens. Today, we want to talk to you about a very special video featuring Patricia de Juan, manager of Arzuaga’s Sales, Events and PR Department. As you know, at Arzuaga, every year we host numerous events in a range of different areas: conferences, business meetings, gatherings between friends, birthday parties… And out of these, some of the most special thanks to all the love that comes from them, are weddings.

At Arzuaga, for years we’ve been carefully taking care of all the details to ensure our guests’ big day is one of a kind. We consider it an honour to be entrusted with organising a day that you’ll remember for the rest of your life, and that’s why we work even harder to make sure everything goes perfectly. In the video we’re talking about in this post, Patricia de Juan tells us first-hand about all the options we have for couples wanting to celebrate their big day at our location in the heart of Ribera del Duero.

‘One of the options we like most is our barrel room,’ explains Patricia. ‘Arzuaga’s barrel room is the winery’s icon and one of the most impeccable areas on our whole site’. As she notes, this is where we hold ‘ceremonies surrounded by barrels, with flowers, candles and that special smell that comes from the combination of the oak and our wine’.

Thinking about outdoor options, ‘if what you’re looking for is an exclusive outdoor area full of history and meaning, that would be our La Planta estate’. The star of many of our wine tourism tours, it’s also the perfect setting to host a wedding. As Patricia explains, ‘in addition to having a hunting reserve with deer, wild boar and mouflons and part of our vineyard’, the La Planta estate is also home to ‘our little great treasure: the ancient holm oak’.

Another option we offer to couples who want to celebrate their big day outdoors ‘is our pine garden, surrounded by vineyards, nature, in the fresh air’. It’s definitely ‘an incredible way to be able to celebrate your wedding in a special way, as well as enjoying that freshness we all look for in summer’.

If we turn to the indoor spaces we have at the Arzuaga wine tourism complex, Patricia picks out two rooms, the Platino Venue and Puesta de Sol Venue. Our Platino Venue is a space that’s ‘diaphanous, spacious, with natural light and high glass ceilings’. The Puesta del Sol Venue, on the other hand, is defined by Patricia as ‘one of the most complete spaces’ at Arzuaga, noting that ‘it can accommodate nearly 700 people and has one side that is fully glass with views of the vineyard and our pine garden’, as well as a ‘chill-out terrace and outdoor terrace’.

As Patricia states, ‘at Arzuaga, we have a unique, magical, one-of-a-kind setting’ and we work to make it the best backdrop for one of the most important days of your life. When this is all over… we’ll see you in Ribera del Duero!
