We’ll start on Saturday morning, after having rested and enjoyed the comfort of our hotel nestled among the vineyards. Our Mediterranean breakfast awaits you, the best way to start the day. After having breakfast and fuelling up, we suggest going on one of our tours. First, be amazed by our La Planta estate, a unique place where you’ll find our nature reserve with deer, wild boar and mouflons, and where you’ll also be able to admire our vineyards and get an energy boost by embracing our ancient holm oak. After strolling around La Planta, it’s time to explore the place where Arzuaga wines are made. To do this, you’ll be able to visit the different areas of the Bodegas Arzuaga winery, learn about the production processes we use and, after discovering where the wines come from, you’ll get to try them in a tasting where we’ll explain their characteristics and nuances to you. And if you’d like to find out even more about them, we recommend signing up for one of our wine tastings, where we’ll pair the various wines tasted with different tapas from the Taller Arzuaga restaurant and teach you to discover everything that’s hiding behind the wines we make.
After a full day of wine tourism activities, it’s time to check out the traditional cuisine of our region by enjoying a meal at the Arzuaga traditional restaurant. Roast suckling lamb, skewered suckling lamb, suckling wild boar, monkfish with clams and prawns in a pine nut sauce… All washed down with one of our Ribera del Duero red wines, of course!
After eating, it’s time to relax and unwind, and at Arzuaga, we have the best place to do this: our spa. You’ll be able to start by enjoying a thermal circuit set in the vineyards, admiring the sea of green that the vines turn into in summer. And to round off the experience, there’s nothing better than treating yourself to one of our treatments or massages. You’ll have your skin pampered and be able to relax in the best hands.
When night falls, at Arzuaga we’ve got the best plan for Saturday: our cinema Saturdays, a barbecue and classic films in our outdoor gardens. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
After a busy day full of activities, on Sunday, before checking out, we suggest something that will be new to many of you: the oils we make here at Arzuaga. The best way to discover them is through an oil tasting – we’re sure that you’ll be amazed!
