One of the most special times for wineries is again drawing near at Arzuaga: the harvest. We’re reaching the culmination of a year of caring for the vines. If the vine growing practices have been followed correctly throughout the growing cycle and the weather has been taken into account, when it’s close to harvest time, we’re at the point where we’ll pick the fruit that will allow us to make our wines: ultimately, the essence of Arzuaga.
It’s definitely a time for celebration at this time of year, so what better way to enjoy it than with all of you? Once again this year… we look forward to seeing you at the harvest festival!
On 10th September, we’ll be celebrating this special time in the vineyards together with you, with a fun party where you’ll be able to join us and get a first-hand look at this stage in the vines’ life cycle.
During the celebration, we’ll welcome you with a gift and a musical performance. You’ll be able to discover the process of getting ready for the harvest and the start of the production of our wines, which you’ll then be able to taste surrounded by barrels inside the winery, finally finishing off with a dinner in the Pine Garden, dining under a canopy, with bonfires and space to relax and enjoy the music.
As you know, the ultimate aim of the harvest is to collect the grapes to make our high-quality Ribera del Duero wines, so, after learning about what goes into this process, you’ll get to taste two of our wines with explanations from two of our professionals.
Once the harvest experience is over, we’ll have an amazing dinner ready and waiting for you in our garden. Next to the vineyards, you’ll enjoy starters including Iberian pork products, cheese, crudités, burrata and pesto salad, croaker ceviche and suckling lamb kebabs or roe deer burgers with roasted new potatoes. All this will, of course, be accompanied by Arzuaga Crianza red wine and a special harvest dessert.
