In our wine tourism project, we managed again to blend in the landscape. That is, we have not only become the most complete wine tourism complex in the Ribera del Duero. Moreover, we can proudly affirm that Arzuaga is part of a cultural landscape in the Douro Valley. And it is precisely such premise what practically marks all the initiatives and projects that are carried out in everything that encompasses our food, hotel and of course wine offer. From La Planta estate, in the middle of the holm oak plateau, to the winery itself, as it could be expected, framed within vineyard lands.
Undoubtedly, in our hotel complex, one of the strongest bets of Grupo Arzuaga – which all those who visit us are enjoying the most – was to design a SPA offer that has all the fields of this sector. Massages, treatments and comprehensive facilities with everything you need to relax and unwind from the daily routine.
But surely, the truest surprise is that the thermal complexes, swimming pools, solarium, bathtubs, massage rooms and more are practically at the foot of the vineyards. That is, from the water or while enjoying a relaxing moment with one of the treatments of the SPA menu, both inside and outside our SPA, the vineyard is a few meters away. It can be ensured that all SPA users can relax and enjoy a moment of disconnection while checking out what phenological stage takes place at that time of the vine’s vegetative cycle. What a better way to feel we are in the heart of the Ribera del Duero?
Pruning, onset of ripening, flowering… The truth is that each and every one of the processes that the vine experiences over the years has its charm and is worth enjoying, even more from the comfort of a SPA. Although, given a choice, we can think that one of the most interesting season is what we lived around September and October, in which the hotel’s client relaxes and the grape is being harvested in the midst of the harvest at the same time. Best of all is that this is not a mirage, it’s the day-to-day reality of the Arzuaga thermal complex.
