Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant: the best way to beat the cold!

This post is also available in: Español (Spanish)

In Castile and León, and, more specifically, in the province of Valladolid where we’re located, winter comes to stay. Even though we might get a bit of sun that tempts us to leave the house, it still seems like the thermometer needs some more motivation to go up a few degrees. But on our blog today, we’re going to tell you about the best way to beat the cold. It’s a solution that you can find here at Arzuaga: in our traditional restaurant, where we specialise in suckling lamb, fish dishes and soups…

As soon as you step inside, we’re sure that the aroma of roast suckling lamb will already perk you up and whet your appetite, getting you ready for the feast to come. We offer a wide variety of traditional dishes to warm you up in a unique setting among vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero’s Golden Mile.

Starting with a light dish made using seasonal products with a fusion of flavours that will tantalise your taste buds, our winter salad features soy sauce, curly endive, pomegranate, orange, apple, pineapple and raisins. As for the starters, you can’t miss our morcilla de Burgos black pudding or our leek pie covered in goose liver and fig and raisin sauce. When choosing the main course, you can, for example, go for one of our tasty fish dishes, the beef sirloin with thinly sliced foie, grilled lamb chops or skewered suckling lamb or the suckling wild boar… Our top recommendation, however, is the roast suckling lamb. This is the most typical dish from our local region, and at Arzuaga we’re master roasters, so it’s guaranteed to be a hit!

And this is all accompanied by the finest selection of Arzuaga wines, of course. If you’re not sure which wine you’d like to enjoy alongside your meal, allow us to guide you by asking our professional team. Based on your order and your taste in wine, they’ll recommend the best choice to you so that your winter lunch or dinner will turn into an amazing wine and food occasion.

Still, as we always tell you, the best thing is for you to come and see for yourself. You can book your table by calling (+34) 983 681 146. See you at Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant!
