As you well know, since we reopened our doors at the Arzuaga wine tourism complex after the months of lockdown that we experienced here in Spain, we decided to do so following a strict protocol to guarantee the safety of both our visitors and all the workers who make up our team. In addition to our visitors, tastings and the restaurants, these health measures also apply to our hotel, of course.
We want you to come and enjoy Arzuaga and Ribera del Duero with peace of mind and the confidence you’ve always felt when you’ve stayed in our rooms, and with the guarantee that we work every day to ensure your safety.
To do this, we think the best thing is to be transparent with you all and for you to be able to see the measures we’re implementing at the hotel, as well as to review our safety protocol. That’s why we’ve made a video you can watch on the Arzuaga Hotel & SPA social networks and on our YouTube channel, where we show you these measures.
Our safety protocol goes into effect as soon as you arrive. After walking over a disinfectant mat to disinfect the soles of your shoes, you’ll go to the front desk where, after cleaning your hands with sanitizer, our staff will welcome you from behind a transparent screen. As you can see in the video, you’ll do the check-in process with a pen disinfected on the spot, after which you’ll be given the key card for your room and a surgical mask, both of which have been disinfected as well. Your temperature will then be taken to check that you don’t have a fever, and then you can go to your room.
Of course, the room will have been fully cleaned and disinfected by our cleaning team. Besides the usual routines for preparing the rooms, we’ve added new measures that we implement throughout the premises. Firstly, using a special sprayer, we apply a disinfectant product to the mattress, headboard, bedside tables, lamps… Moreover, the bedding arrives sealed from the laundry, where everything is washed at a high temperature.
Lifts for individual use, QR codes to avoid plastic and paper, hand sanitizer dispensers… All of this, plus our team’s everyday work, makes Hotel Arzuaga a safe place where you’ll be able to enjoy Ribera del Duero with full confidence.
