The start of 2023 has been very important for Bodegas Arzuaga. Because the scores our wines are beginning to get couldn’t be better. A few days ago, we were talking about the gold medal our Arzuaga Rosae won at the Mondial du Rosé and the 91 points the Guía Peñín awarded our Laderas del Norte, and today we have to tell you about three of our wines that have managed to score more than 90 points on Wine Enthusiast’s list. Arzuaga Reserva 2018 (94 points), Amaya Arzuaga 2017 (95 points) and Arzuaga Gran Reserva 2015 (97 points) have been given exceptional scores by this publication.
If you’re not familiar with Wine Enthusiast, now is the time to get to know this American publication specialising in the wine world, which, over the years, has turned into one of the great benchmarks both for wine lovers as well as professionals, who look to its annual scores for guidance. The publication was founded in New York in 1988 and since then has been a great asset in popularising wine by making it more accessible to the general public. With more than 800,000 readers all over the world, Wine Enthusiast publishes around 10,000 new wine reviews each year, scoring them out of 100 points in total. The magazine also puts together different lists of the 100 best wines according to region, price and characteristics. Its reviews and articles generate significant influence among consumers and wine industry professionals.
