November is moving along so we’re sure you’re already thinking about your plans for the December bank holiday, which will be as good a time as ever to enjoy Bodegas Arzuaga! Suitcases at the ready; here’s what we’ve got planned for you this December.

You can choose to stay one, two or three nights in one of our cosy rooms surrounded by vineyards and decorated elegantly to create a unique setting full of luxurious details such as fine woods that reflect the charm of Ribera del Duero. We’ll visit the La Planta estate, a perfect environment where savin junipers, holm oaks and Mediterranean pines provide shelter to wild boar, mouflons and deer. It’s truly a magical time in autumn, with the leaves turning red and gold.

Next, we’ll do a tasting workshop with our winemaking team, where you’ll try three Arzuaga wines paired with gourmet tapas prepared at Taller, our avant-garde restaurant. Finally, we’ll go to the winery itself to learn more about the philosophy and personality of Arzuaga wines.

This is where you’ll have to choose between our weekend with a meal at our traditional restaurant, or our gastro weekend with a meal at Taller.

At Arzuaga’s traditional restaurant, you’ll find a tasty menu with seasonal game or our Arzuaga menu: acorn-fed Iberian ham and foie, black pudding with peppers, skewered suckling lamb with salad from our kitchen garden and puff pastry with cream, served with Arzuaga Crianza wine, coffee and water. At Taller, on the other hand, you can opt for a ten-course paired lunch or dinner.

You’ll also get one entry per person per stay to the thermal circuit in our spa. There, you can enjoy yourself and relax with bubble loungers, waterfalls and countercurrent rivers.

Can you think of a better bank holiday plan? Well, we’ve got even more in store for you. Because if you choose to spend two nights at Arzuaga Hotel, you’ll be able to choose between a champagne, oil and wine tasting with gourmet tapas or a yoga lesson. And what if you stay with us for three nights? If you’ve chosen the gastro option, you’ll be able to choose between an additional spa entry or a meal at the traditional restaurant with the following menu: acorn-fed Iberian ham with foie, croquettes, grilled turbot or sea bream baked in a salt crust, thin apple tart and Crianza wine. However, if you’ve gone for the traditional option, you can choose between an à la carte meal at Taller or an elixir massage.
